Attention Academy Program is an intervention that is based on mindfulness practices and whose effectiveness on improving attention was tested on students in the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd graders. The specific mindful practices included breath work, movement, sensorimotor awareness activities, and body scanning. At the conclusion of the study, the students were assessed for improvement in awareness through the administration of three different assessments (Napoli, Krech, and Holley).

Stress Management and Relaxation Techniques in Education (SMART) provide mindfulness training to teachers and school administrators. The eight-week program utilizes the MBSR program and focuses on the awareness of emotions, compassion, empathy, as well as concentration and attention. Reports by teachers show positive outcomes in the areas of improved interactions with students as well as with their colleagues, reduced stress, and increased motivation.
